For every well-designed, professional-looking web site on the Internet, you can probably find at least a dozen which are not. You might expect poor design from my amateurs who just want to have a personal site where they can talk about themselves and post their own photos.

Unfortunately some of these sites are run by businesses. They are great examples of why people need the help of a professional Salt Lake web design.

One of the worst examples was an international manufacturing company. When the company designed their first web site, they had a smiley face which followed the mouse all over the page. Yes, you read correctly: a smiley face. That’s definitely not something a professional site should have. A Salt Lake City web design team would have immediately shot down that idea.

Professional sites should also not have music automatically playing in the background unless the site is promoting a band or musical act of some kind. Even good background music will be annoying to people.

Without the help of a Salt Lake web design company, many supposedly professional sites suffer from long page syndrome. You’ve seen these web pages which are clearly trying to sell you something and which seem to go on forever! You definitely don’t want to mimic their look for your professional site. Site visitors don’t enjoy scrolling.

There are many other reasons to use a Salt Lake City web design firm for your site. They can help you avoid other common problems, such as using all-capital letter text, using too many colors, and filling the pages with images that are not directly relevant to the subject.

There are a lot of reasons why you should buy Aspen, Colorado real estate. Here is a top 10 list:

Location – Aspen, Colorado is centrally located and easy to get to. With a regional airport that services Denver, Salt Lake City and other major US cities based on seasonality, it is easy to reach Aspen. In the summer months, consider driving from Denver so you can experience the scenic Independence Pass. Climate – The weather in Aspen is world famous with low humidity and year round sunshine. Winter months bring consistently good snow and come summer you’ll experience temperatures in the low 80’s during the day, cooling off in the evening. Outdoor Activities – Aspen is known for an abundance of outdoor activities that are accessible right out your door step. From skiing, snowboarding, ice skating and snowmobiling in the winter to fly fishing, hiking, biking, climbing and rafting in the summer, there is something for everyone, every season. Great Investment – Aspen real estate has consistently been a great investment. Buy a second home as an investment or purchase an investment property as a rental. Many Neighborhoods to Choose From – Aspen is home to a wide range of neighborhoods and property types. Buy a ski in ski out condo at the base of Ajax or consider a luxury home for sale on Red Mountain. Also, Aspen is just one of the great communities in the Roaring Fork Valley. Check out Snowmass, Basalt and Carbondale for other great real estate opportunities. Culture & Events – Despite being a mountain town, Aspen is home to great culture and events. With art galleries on every block, music festivals, an art museum, performances and more, you are sure to find great entertainment and culture in Aspen. Be sure to check out the Wheeler Opera House and the Aspen Music Festival. Great Dining – Aspen restaurants rivals those of big cities around the world both in quality and selection. Have a burger at Ajax Tavern during your ski day and then enjoy a sushi dinner at Matsuhisa. Take the kids to Boogies Diner or grab a slice at New York Pizza. Real Estate Experts – Let an Aspen Realtor help you find the right piece of Aspen real estate for you. They know the market and the neighborhoods. Shopping – When shopping in Aspen, you’ll think you are on Madison Avenue or Wilshire Blvd. With everything from Prada and Guchi to outdoor equipment stores and small boutique, you’ll find what you are looking for (and more) in Aspen. School System – The Aspen, Colorado school system is outstanding. With public elementary, middle and high schools plus the Aspen Community School and Aspen Country Day School, there are great choices for a great education.

So, you are considering a move to Utah? Excellent choice! The Salt Lake State boasts a booming economy, low unemployment, and, best of all, the Utah real estate market has never been stronger. Once ranked last in the country in terms of home appreciation, Utah rocketed into the Top 20 in recent years, and one city – St. George – moved to the No. 4 spot, with an average home appreciation increase of 35 percent.

‘But wait a minute,’ you ask, ‘a 35 percent increase in the price of a home – doesn’t that make housing expensive in Utah?’ No, and this is the part you will appreciate: although the last few years have seen steady, healthy home appreciation in the state of Utah, this increase is by no means out of control: Utah still leads the country when it comes to low real estate prices. But aside from the fertile real estate market, there are many reasons to move to Utah; here are just a few:

1. Excellent Economy – Though known more for the Mormon Tabernacle Choir, Utah is in fact a major U.S. center for information technology, mining and transportation. These industries contribute significantly to the state’s enviable economy.

2. Scenery – Utah is one of the most beautiful and geographically diverse regions in the continental United States, with everything from snow-capped mountains and river valleys, to deserts with amazing rock formations, to cool evergreen forests.

3. Recreation – This amazing physical landscape lends itself to a huge variety of outdoor pursuits, from rock-climbing, hiking, and mountaineering, to skiing, mountain-biking, whitewater rafting, fishing and hunting. People travel from far and wide to play in Utah’s wild backyard.

4. Spectacular Properties – Utah real estate includes some truly beautiful homes, properties whose beauty is only enhanced by Utah’s spectacular scenery. The recent boom in Utah’s housing market means more homes – in a variety of styles – are being built all the time.

5. Schools – Utah is known both for its excellent post-secondary institutions and its fine public schools. Grades in both language and math are above average, and the student to teacher ratio is a low 22:1.

6. Quality of Life – Utahns enjoy an exceptional quality of life: the cost of living compares favorably to the higher than average salaries here, while most people find that the rugged outdoors – mountains, forests and river valleys – contribute significantly to things like air quality, as well as to their physical & emotional well-being.

7. Investment – In 2006 Utah was the 6th fastest growing state in the nation. The booming city of St. George has the distinction of being the fastest growing metropolitan area in America for the first five years of the century! This amazing growth stimulates the economy in a variety of ways, and makes for an excellent investment climate

8. Climate – For many people, Utah’s climate is ideal. The four seasons are delightfully represented, and while winters can be chilly, they are by no means bitterly so, and the summers are warm and dry.

9. Retirement – Clean air, a mild climate, good investment opportunities, and countless amenities make Utah an excellent place in which to retire.

10. Expansion and Development – All the excitement generated by Utah’s amazing economic growth has created a fertile climate for development. Combine this with the room and need for development in Utah and it is no wonder that new homes and businesses are going up at an impressive rate. Furthermore, all this growth means an increase in social programs, services, amenities, and real estate values.
