Seattle real estate maintains its status as one of the top 10 real estate markets in the United States. With the present real estate crisis that has been affecting and plaguing the country at large it is reassuring to know that Seattle real estate remains firm and strong. Part of the reason for this is that while other states in the US are having a hard time coping with economic problems largely affecting its employment, Seattle employment maintains its stability and growth. Seattle offers plenty of permanent and part time jobs and has been voted as one of the most job friendly cities of USA.

The largest city in the Pacific Northwest, Seattle lies between the salt water of Puget Sound and the fresh water of Lake Washington. The Olympic mountain ranges to the west and the Cascade Mountains to the east. Seattle’s nickname “The Emerald City” is ever so fitting to describe a city that is surrounded by shimmering bodies of water, snow capped mountain ranges and a beautiful lush green countryside, Seattle’s glistening skyscrapers rising up in the middle of this natural beauty truly give it a jewel like appearance. With such natural beauty and a strong real estate market to boot, it only makes sense that one would want to invest in Seattle real estate of some type.

Seattle offers fantastic views from all directions, there are many waterfront homes available as well as the biggest houseboat population outside of the Orient. If you love the water, then investing in a home in the Seattle area would be a dream come true for you. Your investment would be a safe bet as Seattle has such a strong market and you would be able to enjoy living in an area that offers you the things you love in life. Just imagine getting out of bed in the morning, fixing a cup of coffee and within minutes being able to fish, go boating, water skiing or kayaking. Living in a home that is close to the water would save you time and hassle. You would not have to load up the car, pack up gear, drive long distances, because you will be living close to the things you love doing the most.

The median value of a single family home in Seattle is around $520,000. In the Seattle metro area you can purchase a three bedroom home starting at around $400,000. If you are not looking for a stand alone family residence, you might consider a townhouse, prices for town homes start at about $330,000. If you do not want to be troubled with yard work, another option would be a condominium. Two bedroom condominiums can be found starting at around $200,000. As you can see there are many price options, as well as home options available for you to chose from.

One of the big worries about buying waterfront property is loss of privacy. However there are many waterfront homes around Puget Sound that are tucked away in remote locations. Property owners of Puget Sound enjoy a quiet more private lifestyle then owners of waterfront properties on the Lakes in Seattle. Of course living in a Puget Sound waterfront home may require you to take a short ferry ride to reach the downtown Seattle area.

For parent finding your home in an area that provides a quality education for your children will be an important consideration for you. For your family, the school system may be more important than the neighborhood, the commute to work, or the physical structure of the home itself. Your real estate agent will be able to provide you information on the school districts in the Seattle area. A good agent will take all your childrens special needs into consideration, such as honor programs, sports, the arts, or any other special need your child has and help find the perfect location for your home.

One thing about it, no matter what part of Seattle you choose to live in, or what type of Seattle property you choose, house, houseboat, condominium, townhouse or apartment you can be assured that the area will be surrounded in natural beauty and maintain its value.

As the capital city of Colombia, Bogota is a bustling hub full of activity and culture that makes the country and city unique.

Bogota has a population of over 8 million people, and is a modern and metropolitan hub of South America. The city boasts a real cultural uniqueness, but those from North America and Europe can also find plenty of services that cater to Western culture. The city has a number of communities and regions that show a broad aspect of what life in Bogota is like. The city has continued to grow throughout history, and has an important and busy business hub, as well as slower, relaxed areas with cafes, restaurants and shops.

For those heading to Bogota for a weekend getaway, there are plenty of cultural attractions to take in. A visit to the Gold Museum – El Museo del Oro – is a must-see. The museum is dedicated primarily to pre-Colombian gold artefacts, and shows a decadent and interesting side of the country’s gold products. In addition, art fans are sure to enjoy the Donacion Botero, as well as the Museum of Modern Art.

Bogota has a number of comfortable hotels and spas in the downtown, as well as in other areas of the city, that are perfect for a relaxing city break. With opportunities to enjoy relaxing massages and spa treatments, while still being located in the bustling neighbourhoods of Bogota, it is sure to prove an ideal location for those looking to get away from it all on a weekend break.

While Bogota has plenty to offer, some might choose to leave the city on short day trips in order to see the stunning scenery that surrounds the area. The Amazon Jungle is just a short ride away, and there are trails for tourists that are sure to amaze.

What’s more, just outside of the city visitors can revel at the Catedral de Sal de Zipaquira, an impressive cathedral site in a salt mine town. There’s also a spiritual lake that can be reached on a quick day trip from the city that offers English tours.

When you’re back in the city on a Friday or Sunday night, be sure to partake in the Avenida Septima – nightly festivals that showcase live music, magic shows and arts and crafts. It’s a perfect way to wind down and enjoy the boisterous Colombian culture!

Therefore, it may prove a good idea to draw up an itinerary upon arrival from your flights to Bogota. With so much to see and do all year round in the shape of festivals and attractions, planning ahead may be the best way of ensuring that you don’t miss a thing.

Chicago is also the world headquarters for United Airlines, the world’s second-largest airline.

A few years ago, American Fork was one of Money Magazine’s top 100 places to live in the United States. Named after the river nearby, this great city was settled by the Mormon pioneers in 1850. Currently, the population has increased to about 25,596 people. About 20% of the population rents one of the 6,120 American Fork homes.

Many of the locals are employed by major businesses in the city such as Certiport, Dentrix, Goyin, HP Logoworks, Fidelity Investments, Tahitian Noni, True North Academy, and TwinLabs/IdeaSphere. Some of the surrounding cities are Highland, Cedar Hills, Pleasant Grove, Lehi, Alpine, Vineyard, Lindon, and Saratoga Springs. Provo and Salt Lake are conveniently located only 20 to 30 minutes away. Therefore, Brigham Young University, Utah Valley University, Mountainland Applied Technology College and Provo College are all within driving range.

Climate norms average a July high of 91 degrees and a January low of 20. About 17 inches of rain and 42 inches of snow fall each year. Locals enjoy using their leisure time playing a round of golf at Fox Hollow or spending time in the breath taking American Fork Canyon. The city has their annual Steel Days celebration every year for one week in the summer. An unbeatable location allows access within a half day to many of Utah’s monuments, recreational areas and national parks. It also provides a lot of great real estate in American Fork.

Are you planning to visit Sacramento for business purposes? If yes, then this city, that is on its way to become a sophisticated metropolis can offer you all the comforts related to dining, high-class accommodation and various options of transportation. Since most of the business travelers reach Sacramento via airways, located approximately fifteen miles in the north of downtown, Sacramento International Airport has a large number of rental car agencies and taxis available outside Terminal A and Terminal B. If you have to go to the downtown area, then one way fare to reach there would amount to just 27 dollars.

Various transportation agencies offer ‘on call business class sedan’ services as well. You can also take a shuttle for less than 15 dollars to reach downtown. As far as public transportation is concerned, Sacramento has a limited system. If you want to go around the city, a car would be the best option. You can easily find a place for parking and it is not expensive at all. The traffic on the freeways and the city is not very congested, unlike the urban areas. Opt for a taxi or go walking, if you have to go to the downtown area. Finding a taxi is not a problem in this city because there are many taxis throughout the downtown area and in front of major hotels. Other transportation options include:

Amtrak:

It is one of ten institutions that make up the Utah System of Higher Education. With high quality learning, students from across the nation are attractive for the most affordable education ever.

Given the choice of education, schools and colleges offering wide variety of courses, the decision to choose the course of study and the college of education is in the hands of the student. What you choose and how you make choice is a different question altogether. Various considerations like renowned educational institutions, faculty student ratio, performance of the department of choice and finally the most important of all, and the cost of education should be looked into before deciding upon a school of study.

The western part of the valley where Magna is located will receives some 12 inches of rain and 31 inches of snow each year. Temperatures will average 90 as the summer high and 18 as the winter low. The region is elevated to about 4,261 feet. Not having been incorporated as a city yet has not slowed Magna down. Because there is demand and a good sized population, many developments have taken place including a library, a recreation center, schools, shopping centers, and a local newspaper. The people encourage good health by having a health community fair each year. The purpose of this fair is to help promote a strong, healthy town by providing the opportunities to learn important wellness information and make it a part of life.

Two of the most popular attractions in Magna are the Empress Theatre and the Great Saltair. The Historic Empress Theatre was first opened in 1916 but was closed about 20 years later. It has recently been reopened and shows great plays for the whole family to enjoy throughout the year. The Great Saltair is on the shore of the Great Salt Lake. I is used for about anything you can think of including car shows, concerts, wedding receptions, and more.

Magna Real Estate has seen better days. Like a many other areas of Utah Real Estate, Magna has slipped in both price and number of homes sold. That being said, homes are very affordable in Magna.

In 1829 members of the French of the Antonio Armijo party gave Las Vegas its name and used the water around the area while they made their way along the Old Spanish Trail from New Mexico. During this time there were small parts of the Las Vegas Valley that had artesian wells that were able to support large green areas. That is where the name Las Vegas came from. It is Spanish for ‘The Meadows’.

On May 10th, 1855 after Las Vegas had by taken and incorporated into the United States – Brigham Young was ordered to take 30 Mormon missionaries to help convert the Paiute Indians in the area. They built a fort in what is now the downtown area. But over the years there would be problems that stirred between Brigham and new people in the area. The new people that came had more liberal views and questioned Brigham’s practices. This tension caused the Mormons to leave in 1857.

Over the coming years ownership of the Las Vegas Valley and the fort built within its borders would pass between the divided parts of the United States. It was not until 1881 that Archibald Stewart and his wife Helen J. Stewart would gain ownership of the land and would become the new Las Vegas Postmaster.

In 1884 the Stewart family would face tragedy when Archibald was murdered – but this did not stop the plans that were in motion to expand the property. The Stewarts were able to expand it to 1,800 acres and kept the land until it was acquired in 1902 by the San Pedro, Los Angeles, and Salt Lake Railroad. The building of the railroad would bring in many people to Las Vegas helping it to grow in population. Many of these people were farmers.

Another boost in population would come in 1930 when President Herbert Hoover would sign the appropriation bill for the Boulder Dam. The population jumped from 5,000 to 25,000 in hopes that they would be given the job of helping to build the dam. When completed the dam would help to give Las Vegas electricity. The city became the first customer for Southern Nevada Power company and the dam’s name was changed to the Hoover Dam.

By now Las Vegas had made a name for itself because of the erection of the dam. But the year 1931 would forever stick in people’s mind and it became the time when it would start to grow to new heights. Heights that no city had ever reached.

In 1931 gambling was legalized and Las Vegas started its upward climb to becoming the gaming capital of the world. The city was issued its first gambling license in 1931 – which was given to the Northern Club. Soon other casinos opened their doors to those who wanted to test fate and gamble with their money. Fremont Street, the Las Vegas Club, and the Apache Hotel were some of the first.

In order to attract people to their casinos they wanted to emit excitement and fun. Fremont Street became known as Glitter Gulch because of all the lights that were powered by the Hoover Dam. Lake Mead and the Hoover Dam helped to bring in the tourists – which called for more hotels. These hotels were high class that would be proper enough to accommodate the high class people that came. The city has evolved over the years and hotels and casinos have evolved into something great and an exciting place for those looking to let their inhibitions down.

Las Vegas, Nevada has a deep history and because of this it has grown into a city that many of us love. It is one of the best places to leave the world behind and remember that what happens in Vegas during your vacation stays in Vegas.
